Fella Villas Bali

Inspired by travel, architecture and art the FELLA Villas was created by the founders of the iconic Australian swimwear brand FELLA. In collaboration with the girls, the thoughtfully designed modern Villa is inspired by influences from South America and the exotic South East Asia.

The three-bedroom villa is nestled in the heart of Bali’s self-appointed creative hub, Canggu.  Surrounded by verdant green rice paddies, it is a tranquil retreat that features natural timbers, polished concrete floors and lush verdant tropical gardens. All elements of a tropical oasis fused with a modern design that radiates sophistication.

As you enter the Villa you are instantly lured to the open plan kitchen with a stone wood island surrounded by a Japanese-inspired pond with amazing lotus flowers and koi fish swimming underneath a large frangipani tree. An adjoining sunken outdoor lounge area covered in Moroccan furnishings faces the green, slate-lined swimming pool. A private garden filled with cacti, succulents and draping vines surrounds the outdoor living space while lush greenery outlines the pool.

Carefully curated and well-thought with attention to detail from the artwork to the placements of books. The art filled living area features custom made Scandinavian couches, Persian rugs, a Chanel helmet sitting atop vintage Harper’s Bazaar magazines and a monochrome Fella surfboard perched against the sideboard.

The simple white palette in the light-filled bedrooms with unique art pieces adorning the walls creates a gallery-like space. Collaborating with both local and international favourite artists, photographers and homewares creating a luxury boutique villa that showcases the work of creatives within the industry and continually contributing to it, making it feel like live gallery space.

The private, and completely optional third bedroom opens up onto a large tranquil fish pond and private outdoor jungle ensuite bathroom. Soft recessed lighting and perfectly lit bathrooms are a common design feature throughout the whole villa, often details that are missed. Rustic exposed bathrooms pay homage to some of the amazing Balinese elements like open showers, large concrete wash basins, dozens of weathered, moss- covered pots filled with exotic tropical plans and timber decking with views of the bananas trees.
