Villa Necchi Campiglio

Discreetly situated in the heart of Milan, this villa was commissioned by the Necchi family from Milanese architect Peiro Portaluppi in the early 1930s. Given "carte blanche" in design and budget, Portaluppi created a modernist and rationalist masterpiece. Now serving as a museum with guided tours, the home offers a rare glimpse into a bygone era of Italian design, pristinely preserved from the time the Necchi family inhabited its storied halls.

Their eclectic design combines retro elements like newspaper racks and watercolours of 1930s Italian architecture. Serving Milan's symbolic dishes, it's a chic homage to the city's culinary and cultural heritage.
