Georgia McFarland for Merci Maison: "Terracotta Brick and Old Pool Chair"
Georgia's works are a small collection of works inspired by childhood nostalgia and Australian suburbia with a focus on the Northern Beaches. Each work displays a collection of memories that are her own as well as others that are the core of growing up in suburban Australia.
Artists In Residence: a collaborative programme established to support like-minded creatives inviting seven hand-selected Australian artists to create bespoke artworks to be presented in the brand’s signature Bello Frame. Co-founders Jade & Danielle explain “Each of the artists we selected to work with, have a unique style and each tell a different story through their work. We are never formulaic, template or predictable. Rather, we like embrace imagination, innovation and originality, which each of these artist represent to us. Our brand was built to not only support our own creative pursuits, but to also support others in this space.” All pieces are exclusive to Merci Maison.
All works have been photographed in studio lighting and we endeavour to show their true colours as accurately as possible. Please keep in mind though that computer, tablet and phone screens can all vary in colour representation. We are more than happy to send through extra images before you make a purchase, please email us via firstname.lastname@example.org
